1. Apply online:
A $30 application fee will be charged upon your first use of our services. All application fees pay for national criminal background checks so that Select Sitters can insure that we have the most qualified sitters in Central Virginia.

2. We will contact you to discuss your needs and expectations for a sitter.
If you would like we would love to set up a time to meet your family and discuss your needs.

3. Call us when you need a sitter and we will find the perfect sitter just for you.
With at least 48 hour notice we guarantee to find you a sitter.*
Accommodations can still be made with less than a 48 hour notice, but cannot be guaranteed.

4. Your sitter will have you sign an hour log sheet to confirm the number of hours worked each time they come to your home.

5. We will email you a PayPal invoice within one week of your sitting appointment. Invoices are due 15 days from time of receipt.
You do not need a PayPal account to pay the invoice.

*Sitters are not guaranteed on New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve, but requests will be accommodated as sitters are available.

*Sitters are not available on Christmas Day.
