We provide sitters for all occasions whether it is a last minute sitting, occasional sitting, overnight or weekend sitting, part time nanny, or full time nanny, Select Sitters has a perfect sitter for you.

Select Sitters LLC is committed to providing the most qualified sitters in Central Virginia. We guarantee to find you a sitter upon request of at least 48 hour notice, and can give you confidence that your sitter will be highly qualified and experienced.

We do the work for you! We will find the sitters so that you do not have to go through interviews and reference checks only to find that your sitter is not available when you need them.

Select Sitters LLC also handpicks sitters just for your family style. We will meet with you and get to know your family so that we can pick each sitter specifically for you to ensure a good fit.

All of our Sitters have met the qualifications below:

-18 years of age or older

-Three years of child care experience

-Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Training/Certification*

-Have reliable transportation

-Three references

-Must pass a Background check and sexual misconduct check

Our Polices:

-Select Sitters will also not guarantee sitting during inclement weather, ie. snow, ice, hurricane, tornado, etc. It is at the discretion of the sitter to determine if they feel comfortable driving to the house of the client.

- In the event of an emergency for the scheduled sitter another sitter may need to be provided. If a sitter needs to cancel and Select Sitters cannot find a sitter for the family, Select Sitters will be responsible for giving the client 2 free hours of sitting services for another date and time to be agreed upon by the client and members of Select Sitters.

-All payments received after the 15th and 30th will be subject to a $20 late fee

-For clients who do not reside in the Lynchburg area the application fee will be waived, but the client must still fill out the application even in the event that they only need a sitter for a few hours.

-Those who have children with disabilities requiring a sitter will still be accommodated and a sitter that has at least three years of experience with children with disabilities will be provided for the child. Regular rates apply for most situations; contact Select Sitters for more details.
